Fire
Fires require three basic ingredients: fuel, oxygen, and heat. The combustible material represents the material that will start the fire, and these materials are usually plants, trees, grasses, paper, wood or other combustible materials. Oxygen is necessary for fire to continue through the air. Heat is the factor that causes a fire to start, and it can be caused by sunlight, electrical sparks, igniting combustible materials, or other factors.
Controlling fires is possible by first determining the causes of fire and intervening in the early stages of fires. Fires are usually put out by firefighters, forest guards and other emergency workers. These workers can use a range of different materials to extinguish fires, such as water, soil, sand or specialty chemicals.
Correct waste management, storage of potentially fire-prone materials, use of fire safety equipment and other measures are essential for the prevention of fires. In addition, the preparation and implementation of emergency plans for natural disasters can be lifesaving. Preventing and controlling fires is vital for both people and the natural environment.
